The spices release red wine nice great flavors when you cook the pears in it, taste delicious
Ingredients
Well ripe Bartlett pears 5 pieces
1 bottle good Red wine
1 cup Maple syrup
2 cinnamon sticks
6 start anise
6 cloves
1 vanilla bean
Preparation
Peel off pears and cut into halves length wise. remove the core and cut each half into wedges about 5 to 6 wedges.
mean while put all other ingredients into a pot and mix together well.
put sliced pear into the pot and cook on low heat until pears are soft and tender.
store pears in the liquid for over night or longer for better taste.
serve with some ice cream or with some kind of cake to give it a nice combination of flavors
