About the Recipe

This flexible tart dough recipe will make your tart shells perfect in shape and delicious it has a little nut flavor and it gives a nice texture to your tart

Ingredients

  • 675 g room temp butter

  • 226 g confectioners sugar

  • 226 g Almond flour

  • 180 g Eggs

  • 930 g All Purpose flour

  • 1 tsp Salt

Preparation

Step 01

Cream room temp butter, confectioners sugar and almond flour in a electric mixer with the paddle attachment do not cream too long just for few minutes just to incorporate them together


Step 02


Add egg followed by AP flour and salt. juts mix until a dough forms and roll the dough in between 2 parchments into desired thickness to make tart shells. chill the dough sheet if its too soft to handle. Cut the dough sheet into circles with a ring cutter, when you pick the ring cutter size make sure to take a ring cutter at least 1/4 inch bigger than the tart shell ring.
