Try this garlic and chives rolls, your guests will really enjoy. garlic and chives will give it a nice flavor combination
Ingredients
140 g Butter
5 g Garlic chopped
45 g Milk (1)
60 g water
24 g Bread flour(1)
135 g Milk
8 g Yeast
328 g Bread flour
26 g Sugar
1 ea Egg
10 g Salt
5 g Chives
Preparation
Step 1
Take half amount of better and heat it up in a small pan, add garlic and sauté un till favor comes out, turn off the heat and add remaining butter and let it cool down to room temp
Step 2
combine milk(1), water and bread flour(1) in a small pan and cook over lower heat until it become a thick paste stirring constantly
Step 3
combine al the remaining ingredients in a mixing bowl except butter. add half of the butter with garlic while the dough is mixing. mix the dough on medium speed for about 8 minutes, and finally add thinly slices chives and mix the dough for another minute.
Step 4
put the dough into a greased bowl and cover it with plastic and let it rest for about 40 minutes to 1 hour
Step 5
Scale the dough into 42 g pieces and roll in to balls
Step 6
Let the bread rolls proof double in size, egg wash them and bake at 350 F for about 18 to 20 minutes. butter the rolls when they come out of the out with the remaining garlic butter
