About the Recipe

Try this scones recipe out with any variations of fruits. perfect recipe for Sunday brunch for your guests.

Ingredients

  • 870 g AP flour

  • 10 g Baking powder

  • 13 g Baking soda

  • 155 g Light brown sugar

  • 3 g Salt

  • 573 g Butter cold diced

  • 200g Buttermilk

  • 100 g Egg yolks

  • 30 g Honey

  • 2 ea Orange zests

  • 450 g Dry cranberry

Preparation

Step 1


Dice cold butter and keep it cold till you get everything else ready


Step 2


In a mixier with paddle attachment mix Ap flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and diced butter untill mixer reach to a mealy consistency some butter dices may be visible



Step 3


add dry cranberry, yolks orange zests and buttermilk, just combine all together . Do not over mix



Step 4


Roll out the door to about inch high and chill the dough for about 1 hour and cut for any desired shapes or using a ring cutter. brush the tops of the scones with some butter milk and sprinkle some sugar in the raw or granulated sugar and bake at 350 F for about 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown on top
